The Import and Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) quoted statistics from the General Department of Customs as saying that Vietnam's cashew exports in February 2023 reached approximately 34.3 thousand tons, worth $ 197.7 million, an increase of 25.8% in volume and 26.9% in value compared to January 2023, 35.4% increase in volume and 31.2% increase in value compared to February 2022.

In the first 2 months of 2023, Vietnam's cashew exports reached 61.5 tons, worth US$353.12 million, down 4.4% in volume and 7.4% in price over the same period in 2022. 

In February 2023, the average export price of Vietnam's cashew nuts reached $5,766/ton, up 0.9% compared to January 2023, but down 3.1% compared to February 2022. Generally, in the first two months of 2023, the average export price of Vietnam's cashew nuts stood at $5,742 per ton, down 3.4% over the same period in 2022.

In February 2023, cashew nut exports to many main markets have the potential to increase compared to the same period in 2022, except for the United States and Germany.

Generally in the first 2 months of 2023, cashew nut exports to the US, Netherlands, Australia, Canada, and Germany... decreased, but exports to China and the United Arab Emirates grew to 3-digits compared to the same period in 2022.
